Food Safety Policy
Based on our corporate philosophy and quality policy, we will continue to create safe products that our customers can eat with peace of mind.
❶ We will always be aware of our role in the food chain and comply with food safety laws and regulations.
❷ We will listen sincerely to our customers' requests, communicate closely with external organizations, and strive to improve quality.
❸ We will inform all employees of the importance of food safety and promote food safety initiatives.
❹ We will implement internal education and communication activities to raise awareness of food safety, aiming to maintain and improve safe and stable production.
● Food defense
In order to protect the products we manufacture from intentional contamination with microbiological, chemical, and physical hazards and ensure the safety of our products, we will continue to raise our defense level in stages and strive to reduce the risk of harm through measures to prevent the intrusion of suspicious individuals and employee work management.
● Thorough quality production management
We implement strict quality production management so that we can deliver products that our customers can feel safe and satisfied with.
In order to ensure safety from the time the ingredients are purchased until the customer eats the product, all staff members in production, sales, and other departments work together to ensure thorough quality control.
● Efforts to reduce food additives
Currently, there are many cases where food additives whose necessity is questionable are used to prioritize short-term profits for companies, such as for low-cost production, to improve shelf life, and to add fragrance or color to stimulate purchasing.
However, our company is working to reduce the use of unnecessary food additives and aims to contribute to the health of customers and obtain long-term profits by creating products that customers can choose with confidence for a long time.
To that end, we are constantly improving our management system and innovating technology.
● Early adoption of hygiene management in line with HACCP
HACCP is a hygiene management method in which food business operators themselves identify hazards such as food poisoning bacteria contamination and foreign matter contamination, and then manage particularly important processes to eliminate or reduce these hazards in all processes from the arrival of raw materials to the shipment of products, thereby ensuring the safety of the product.
As of June 1, 2021, in principle, all food business operators are required to implement hygiene management in accordance with HACCP, but our factory was one of the first to adopt hygiene management in accordance with the HACCP certification for seafood processing facilities by the Japan Fisheries Association. We will continue to implement thorough hygiene management and strive to deliver better products.
